A nice little mention from Ghost of Blind Lemon...

Ghost of Blind Lemon, a DFW music blog, was kind enough to include us on it's current playlist. Check it out. Peace!

Epic Live at Prophet Bar 10/31/09

Both Live songs come straight from the sound board. No mixing. The 2nd, Epic, has just a little bit of silence in the beginning. Enjoy.

Something Old and Something New

A lot has happened...
We have a new vocalist, Marti, and our sound is kickin.
We have been playing a lot of shows around and would love for you guys to come and see what's all the fuss about!
We have done some recording and are thinking of trying to record our live stuff too.
We discovered a new planet.
We also took some band photos, but there are more to come!

This is your priority list:
1) See Most live
2) Feed the hungry
3) Wear Olivia's skin like a dress... I mean tell her how awesome her vocals are.
4) Go to the doctor about the burning.
5) See Most live.

Come here for updates!

In the fight between you and the world, back the world.

Turn the beat around.

So, we played one of our favorite haunts last night: The Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum. After going in deluded and coming out disillusioned from a gig two nights before at Andy's in Denton (thanks for listening, barkeeps!), we vowed to make some changes to our set and our attitudes. The result...easily the best show we've played to date. I've never had that much fun onstage and had about a gallon of sweat to show for it. John Paul, the Prophet audio engineer for the evening, was attentive and skilled. We'll make sure to request him next time we come down. A great big special thanks to Marti, Stephanie, Sarah, Lauren, Brendan, and Kyle for coming out - you're our small but incredibly good looking fanbase.

We go into the studio next weekend to lay track for our new tunes. We'll keep you posted!

Between two worlds life hovers like a star, twixt night and morn, upon the horizon's verge.

Great news, friends! Most will be in the studio in a couple weeks to churn out our new EP at a break-neck pace. Six brand new tunes, ready to live their lives. Here's a titular preview:

Just Enough
Long Melody
Perfect Confession
Epic
Make You Right
Untitled

We'll be releasing it later this Fall, so get ready!

Also, we'll be performing at The State Fair of Texas on October 1st @ 2:00pm. Deep-fried Most. Mm mm good.

And remember to scroll down and peep our calendar for all our upcoming show dates, including two next week. Peace!

...special thanks to Lord Byron for this entry's title.

Summer update...

Hello, brave followers. All is relatively quiet here in Mostland. Adam recently got married, others are moving, and Millie, Honey, and Bear (the Mostdogs) are coping with the heat each in her/his own way. We're in the process of filling up our Fall calendar with great shows - Denton, Dallas, and the possibility of Austin and NYC looming. We'll be getting back in the studio in a few weeks, too. See everyone at The Prophet Bar on August 29th! Peace!

June 6th @ The Prophet Bar

Great show last night! Thanks to everyone who came out - we felt the love. The Prophet put on somewhat of a Denton showcase, although I have no idea if it was intentional. We were right in the middle of the line-up, which was nice, and enjoyed the stylings of Mino Jeta and Febrifuge before us.

More to the point, however, is Gabe and Pat's Jack In The Box order after the show:

six (6) chicken sandwiches w/ bacon
four (4) orders of tacos (which is eight [8] tacos)
three (3) junior bacon cheeseburgers
no (0) drink

...hell yeah.

Also, to those who doubted that I would wake up to watch Federer win his first Coup de Mousquetaires...I woke up at precisely match point. BURN!

First Review on DC9 at Night

Here it is. Hopefully the first of many rave reviews to come.
